The Harvard Athletic Association (H.A.A.) is a not-for-profit corporation registered in Massachusetts and filed as tax exempt under Section 501 C (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. The H.A.A. is an all volunteer organization with a primary purpose to encourage, promote and engage town residents and Harvard students to participate in athletic programs and activities. The H.A.A. programs are primarily for the youth of Harvard for their enjoyment and personal development. The programs are designed to maximize participation, promote fair play, develop skills, encourage sportsmanship, foster teamwork and offer out of town competitive opportunities.
The H.A.A. provides a structural and fiscal foundation for all youth sports in Harvard including the Bromfield Athletic Club (BAC), . The H.A.A. consists of five independent youth program offerings for basketball, baseball & softball, lacrosse, soccer and ultimate. The H.A.A. leadership team works closely with the Town of Harvard Parks and Recreation Department, (P&R), the Superintendent of Schools, the Bromfield Athletic Director and all recognized Bromfield School Athletic teams. We encourage, invite and welcome parental volunteers, Bromfield staff and students to assist as coaches, assistants or instructors as their interests may apply.
